I was Technology Developer at The Children's Museum in Boston for ten years, from 1988 to 1998. During that time, I focused in particular on ways families interact with technology and with each other in the public space of a major museum.
Now I consult with museums around the country, developing interactive media for families in exhibits. I'm especially interested in integrating current learning theory (social learning, Constructivist, and multiple intelligences) with new technologies.
My goal: to develop interactive media in exhibits and on the Web that encourages people to communicate with each other and extend their learning beyond the exhibit.
